I developed a logo for Charlotte Arts and Lectures using elegant typography and crown iconography to tie into Charlotte’s nickname, the Queen City. The client wanted the logo to feel aspirational and cultural, while remaining versatile for use across event materials and in single-color applications.
Final Concept
The final logo utilizes the image of a chair paired with a crown. The chair reflects the nature of the events—conversations, lectures, and gatherings—while the crown elevates the design, connecting it to Charlotte’s cultural identity. Together with the refined typeface, the mark conveys a sense of prestige and sophistication, aligning with the organization’s mission to bring enriching cultural programming to the community.
